This journey to India began on a winter’s night, sitting on a raffia mat, legs crossed, listening to a concert of traditional music. A night like many others, getting to know Giorgio Kriegsch, a person who collects money for the poor thanks to his talent. Every year, since 1975, he has been flying to Orissa to bring what he has collected through his concerts to those who own nothing.
This photographic reportage tells a story of encounters among cultures and religions, where all diversities left aside, to bring hope to those who have nothing, but can make you feel part of their lives with a simple look.
